Senior Fitter (MET) Technician
The nine practical assessments at Senior Technician level will measure competence in the following:
• Remove and Replace Mechanical, Trim and Electrical Components - Boot Catch
• Carry Out a Cosmetic Panel Alignment - Front Bumper
• Cooling System - Radiator and Tests
• Remove and Refit SRS components - Drivers Air Bag
• Remove and Refit Mechanical Component - Structural - Suspension Macpherson Strut and spring, Brake Calliper
• Diagnose Electrical Faults - Wiper circuit
• Four Wheel Alignment - Check and Adjust to VM data
• Refrigerant handling - System Evacuation, Recharge and Test
• Refrigerant cylinder handling - Reclaim from Virgin Cylinder
