The Chamber's membership magazine 53 Degrees is sent to all members free of charge on a monthly basis. It includes the latest news on membership services and pages of stories profiling you, our members. Demand for space in the magazine is high, but we aim to feature as many member companies as possible. Paid-for advertising is also available to members and non-members through Lesley Jarjue on 0161 832 6000.
We also have a unique arrangement with the Manchester Evening News, one of the most successful regional newspapers in the UK. We use our members' success stories to fill a page in the business section called Chamber View, and if you have a good story to tell, you could be next. Again, this is a completely free service, yet worth thousands of pounds in free PR. We also have regular business columns in many of the local papers within Greater Manchester, and if you have a particular subject which you would like us to raise, this is an ideal forum.
Finally, Greater Manchester Chamber actively seeks media interest and very often, journalists are keen to talk to real businesses experiencing some of the issues we are lobbying about. We regularly put our members in touch with the media and have had some real successes getting coverage in the broadsheets, or on national radio and television.
