FUNDING FOR EMPLOYEES AGED 19 AND OVER

Recognising that the future health of Motor Vehicle Service and Repair sector lies in the ability of the workforce to acquire higher skills, the Government has allocated significant funds to support workforce development in the form of Train to Gain.

Automotive Solutions has been selected to offer a limited NVQ level 3 pilot programme in Greater Manchester.

Train to Gain is a new service which can improve employers productivity and competitiveness by making sure that employees have the right skills to do the best job.

Train to Gain funding is Government subsidised funding to help employees gain their first level 3 qualification.

Train to Gain funded qualifications available through the Institute of Motor Industry in:

• Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Level 3
• Vehicle Body & Paint Operations Level 3
